Wow! What a fun summer we were able to have! We took a vacation back in July to visit Robbie's sister Geri and her family. (what a stinkin' sweet family BTW!) We loved every minute of it. We miss them already, and can't wait to see them again. Here are some things we loved about our trip:
-Ivy CAN sleep somewhere other than her bed if she chooses to
-Danae would paint all day long if we let her
-When Ivy and Aliya are best friends when they are older, they will look back on this vacation and laugh
-I do know Robbie better than Geri knows Jacob despite what the score board says :)
-Neighbors Grill = YUM!
-Geri makes me look like a crafter-wanna-be
-It's really easy to spot Robbie and Jacob in the ocean...Look for the white backs
-I'm fairly certain I could spend all day in the Smithsonians
-Naomi will forever make me smile when she says "just kidding"
-Danae and Naomi are the quietest children I have ever been around
-Visiting Geri and Jacob is like going to your own bed n breakfast
-Sonic is indeed worth the drive for ice in eastern humidity
-Robbie's favorite: "Uncle Robbie, can we watch you play XBOX?"
-The discovery of Dove body wash
-Best. Vacation. Ever.

What a sweet tribute!!! Naomi's "just kidding" has turned into an excuse to get away with everything including hitting her sister. Denae and Naomi keep asking when Uncle Robbie and Aunt Pancake are coming back, that is a tough one to explain... when you have noconcept of the value of money you can travel anywhere anytime, right? Thank you for the cherished memories!
PS Aliya saw a pic of her and Ivy and started giggling. She would not let me change the pic for a long time. It was really cute!
