So, I always thought that things likethe grocery game and the like was something I could never figure out or do. Well, on the CONTRARY! :) I've been collecting my coupons, tracking my sales, and doing my research. And yesterday it finally paid off! (No pun intended!) :) Robbie and I bought $187.00 worth of grocery items for $56.00. You betcha!! Look at us go! And it's only the beginning. Now that I'm starting to "get it", I'm learning a lot more. I'm so excited! I went to sleep last night dreaming of coupons. :) Sadly, that's partly true. :) But it's official, I'm hooked. I am now one of those annoying moms that hold up the grocery line with all her stupid coupons, who is busy correcting the cashier and kepping her baby quiet, but that end ups saving $111.07 on her grocery bill. Wow, that is quite the savings! I'm very impressed. I've not yet gotten into the whole coupon thing.
So where are you two living, and what do you do for work? Sounds like you've been busy.
Beautiful baby by the way.
Hope to hear from you soon. Jenny Glauser Benson
I need some good ideas on this. Where did you go shopping at? Do you just get coupons from the Sunday paper or online as well?
Don't you LOVE it?!! I am absolutely addicted now to saving money!! This year alone from doing the grocery game and tracking our savings we have saved $3,500. We look forward to going grocery shopping now just to see how much we can save, the checkers on the other hand probably dread it when they see us in their line! You should read this book by Dave Ramsey called the Money Makeover. You'd love it. We are on a roll now paying off our credit cards after reading it. I'll be thinking of you this Sunday when we are cutting out the Sunday paper coupons, knowing that you are doing the same!
