The AMAZING Tara Pugmire (taralynnphotography.com) took Ivy's 1 year pictures the other day. It was a lot of fun. Ivy was totally working the camera - it was hilarious. And Tara did a great job of making her laugh. Anyway, here are a few of the results. I can't believe how big she's getting!

Life
Life has been crazy busy...thus the blog neglect. We have had family reunions, and clogging camps, and sick babies. Even now - the house is a mess and I should be cleaning. But this is the only moment I have had and will have to blog for a while because on Wednesday we are leaving for the rest of July to go see Robbie's sister in Virginia!!!!! We are so excited, we can't stand it. We will get to spend so much time with Geri and her family, Ivy will get to play with her only girl cousins on that side of the family, and this will be our first non-clogging related trip since we were married. I can't even believe we really get to go. We'll get to go to Virginia beach, Washington DC, a Safari Retreat, and lots of cool historical sites. Plus, Robbie and I will get to celebrate our 4th Anniversary while we're there. Can't wait to post all about it. Wish us luck on the plane with Ivy - and in case I don't see ya - Bon Voyage!
Date Night
So...Robbie took me on a date last night. We dropped Ivy off at Robbie's Mom's house and first went to my Dr's appointment. Everything is fine and normal - no surprise there. My pregnancies are pretty uneventful. (I'm not complaining) Then we went for a walk in Veteran's Memorial Park. We found a shady spot to sit and talk and watch the clouds, and we realized that on one side of us was a big group of homeless people with their bikes and bags just hanging out. A little uncomfortable because they looked mean, but I didn't want to judge so we stayed. About 5 minutes later, two totally drunk people sat down 10 feet away from us and started to cuddle as best they could for being drunk. That park is HUGE -- right next to us, really?!?! But again, I don't want to judge so I set aside being uncomfortable and stayed. But then about 5 minutes later, we look over and see one of the homeless people peeing onto a tree. And...we were done. So we headed to dinner a little early. We NEVER go out to dinner - so I was so excited that Robbie was okay with it. He even said I got to pick whatever I wanted. So, we went to Olive Garden. I ordered the chicken Marsala because all of a sudden nothing really sounded good. When they brought it out, and I took my first bite - I thought I was going to seriously throw up. I'm sure it was great, but baby did NOT think so. So - we kindly asked the waiter if we could get something else, and he said yes, so I ordered the salmon. By the time it came out, Robbie was finished and I wasn't hungry anymore, so I had to box up the whole dinner. The ONE time I get to go out to eat and my tummy decides it doesn't want something expensive and delicious. Grrrrr. So we decided to see what was playing at the dollar theater instead. We saw that "Land of the Lost" was starting in like 5 minutes, so we decided to go for it. About 15 - 20 minutes into the movie, we decide that it was too inappropriate and we left. Isn't that FUNNY?! It was just one thing after another. And what made it REALLY funny was that the last date Robbie and I tried to go on, our car broke down and we spent the entire date trying to fix it. Good times. :)
BUT...to be completely honest, I still had fun on both those dates because I was with Robbie. I would SO rather be doing nothing with Robbie than something exciting where everything goes perfect with someone else. :) Love you babe - thanks for the date!
AND...it was all totally worth it because Robbie's Mom offered to take Ivy over night. So, it all worked out and it was a great evening! Thanks again MOM! XOXO
